Amber’s heat and power business includes investments in building integral combined heat and power (CHP) as well as the development or extension of district heating networks.

This includes:

  • Commercial and residential developments such as the energy centre and heat network at Knight Dragon’s Greenwich Peninsula scheme, at its time Europe’s largest regeneration project
  • Assets installed in the NHS estate, for example St George’s University Hospital NHS Foundation Trust in London
  • Communal heating solutions serving social and affordable housing for Local Authorities and Registered Providers, such as LEEF’s scheme at the London Borough of Hackney, which will help to address fuel poverty, energy savings and carbon emissions
  • Multi-site district heating networks, such as the Lee Valley Heat Network North London.
