Amber Infrastructure Group, the leading public infrastructure group, is delighted to announce that it has been designated as preferred bidder for the contract to design, build and maintain Ludlow Healthcare Facility in Shropshire, UK.
The £27m project is being procured under the Shropshire Healthcare Framework and will include impatient and midwifery unit, daycare space and two GP practices. The project will be built by VINCI Construction.
Financial close on the project is expected by Q2 2012 and the facility, awarded by Shropshire Community Health NHS Trust, will be constructed at Ludlow Eco Park and is expected to be completed by spring 2014. Amber will manage the facility with VINCI providing facilities management services. Medical facilities will be provided from the new premises by the NHS.
