THE BACKGROUND
Woodlands School is a new-build secondary school completed in January 2014 catering for 1,500 pupils aged 11-16.
The school was constructed by Skanska Construction UK as part of the ‘Building Schools for the Future’ Government initiative and is maintained throughout the concession period by Skanska Building Services.
The concession will expire in December 2036 and project revenues are availability-based.
The public sector commissioning body was Essex County Council.
