THE BACKGROUND

Marriotts School is a 1,600-place secondary school with 400 places for 6th form provision. Facilities include a National Standard Gymnasium available to the community 7 days a week. Lonsdale School is an 8-place high dependency SEN school with residential places for 24 pupils available Monday - Friday.

The schools formed part of the ‘Building Schools for the Future’ Government initiative.

The operational concession will expire in August 2037.

Project revenues are availability-based.

The public sector commissioning body was Hertfordshire County Council.
