THE BACKGROUND

All three schools are new build facilities – St John’s Catholic Comprehensive (completed April 2011), Northfleet Technology College (July 2010) and Thamesview School (July 2010). The schools formed part of the ‘Building Schools for the Future’ Government initiative.

Facility management services include the management and reporting of building maintenance; lifecycle replacement; grounds maintenance; energy management; FF&E provision / renewal; janitorial; cleaning; catering provisions; security; and waste management.

The public sector commissioning body was Kent County Council, which is a key partner investor.
